Release International: the persecuted Church
The Scottish Development Manager for Release International is due to speak in Inverness on her experiences working with the persecuted church around the world.
 A meeting is planned to let the Christian community in the Inverness area hear more about the work of Release International which works to support the persecuted Christian community in different parts of the world. With the increasing violence against Christians this should be a valuable opportunity to learn more and to gain information for prayer from Linda Roxburgh who is the Scottish Development Manager with the organisation.
Laurie Chancellor writes to the Christian community and Release supporters:
It is not often that we get the chance to hear about the persecuted church at first hand, and we thought that you might like to join us for an hour or so.
Light refreshments will be served after the talk and you will have the chance to meet Linda and find out more about the work Release does. If you have been thinking of organising a support group in your church this would be a good opportunity to find out what would be involved. Feel free to bring a friend.
