Pastor David Williams on Inverness Christian Fellowship was called to glory at 9.45pm on Wednesday, 22 July 2015 following a very short illness. He was 63 years old.

It was a great privilege, blessing and encouragement to be with David and the others, meeting weekly at an early-morning prayer fellowship in Inverness.

In December last year David asked me to help him check a list of all the churches in Inverness as the ICF started the new year with a month of prayer. Part of which was for the local churches and local needs including the work and ministry of ICF
During this time David, who had a recognised prophetic gifting within the Apostolic Church, heard from the Lord: "Plan only for the next 7 months."

Meanwhile in March of this year Robbie Halkett, an ICF elder since 2004, was ordained into the pastoral role.

So the Lord, who knows all our lives, had 'gone before'.

David is survived by his wife Eunice and three adult children, their wives and a grandchild. Though he was not concious for the three-day period that he was in Raigmore, the family were around his bed during that time.

We give thanks to God for David and his ministry amongst us and pray on for Eunice, the family and all the saints at Inverness Christian Fellowship in the days to come.

We are saddened to hear about the loss but at the same time rejoice in the Lord for David's life and the work he has done in God's Kingdom. May his soul rest in eternity until we see him again. My condolences to Eunice and family.
