Healing and Restoration at Blairmore House
The Christian life does not mean freedom from stress nor automatic healing from the damage that life experiences can bring. There is much in the lives of followers of Christ which need more than a quick prayer at the end of a Sunday service.
Ellel Ministries International is a Christian organisation with centres around the world. As a ministry Ellel seeks to serve the church, its leaders and believers within the body of Christ through training, equipping and pastoral ministry.
Each of the residential centres conducts Healing Retreats where any Christian can come and receive teaching and prayer ministry in a safe, confidential and loving environment.
The aim of these retreats is to offer an opportunity to individuals within the body of Christ for the Holy Spirit to bring healing into areas of life which are in need of restoration or to address problems which are hindering the believers growth in Christian life and the things of God.
There are five centres within the UK and the Scottish base is at a lovely country setting between Dufftown and Huntly. Blairmore House is a beautifully-restored Victorian county house and former boys school which is set in a very private and tranquil location. The Directors are Malcolm and Anna Wood who work with a team of trained believers to offer God’s love and care to all who come.
Ministry to church leaders
In addition to the Healing Retreats which generally run over three days, church leaders can come for longer periods as part of Operation Blairmore which is designed to offer a period of refreshment and recovery from the stresses of ministry.
In a video interview in the Summer of 2010, Anna Wood talked to Christians Together about the work and the heart of the ministry.
