Christine Sakakibaras

csDivine intervention is the story of Christine Sakakibara's life. She has lived in Israel for many years coming all the way from Australia to Israel to become a nun. But God had other plans for her.

Christine has a passion that drives her to let suffering people know, with God's help, there is an answer. She is a mother of five and on the leadership team of Narkis Street Congregation in Jerusalem where she is active in all the social outreach programs established in their church.

Christine describes what its like living in Israel and will clear up some myths about the situation on the ground there. She is no stranger to danger and difficulties and is an overcomer, able to illustrate the power of God in lives today.

Introducing herself she writes:

“My name is Christine Sakakibara. I was born in Australia but feel I am a true Jerusalemite! I have lived in Israel for 34 years, where I met and married my Japanese husband. We have five of the most beautiful children in the world, all of whom were born in Jerusalem. I have lived through wars , terror attacks, and adversity of all kinds in Israel.

I believe in miracles and have experienced them first hand on numerous occasions. I am a keen observer of International news and want people to be aware of the true face of life in Israel. My perspective is one written from the heart of a mother. I work to bring help and assistance to all manner of people, living here in Israel. (regardless of Race or Religion).

Similar to that which is spoken of in 1Cor 12:28: "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." I hope you will enjoy hearing about life in Israel from a perspective that will not be portrayed in the International news media.”

She challenges and inspires, through her testimonies, to move further into the purposes of God for each believer's life.Desribing herself as a 'mother in Israel', she is an ordinary person with an extraordinary God.
