With the Catholic Church in the headlines over the Pope's demission Scott Brisk expresses his concerns regarding underlying issues within the Church of Rome.

PopeThe Roman Catholic Church has certainly found herself in the headlines these past few days and weeks around the world. Just a few weeks back we have had another series of reports in the press surrounding the overwhelming problem of Roman Catholic Priests sexually abusing children, this time in the Los Angels diocese. Then this past Monday February 11th the announcement came forth that Pope Benedict XVI was stepping down due to health reasons.

Concerning the child molestation scandals The LA Times is continuing their reports on this matter and yet I have doubts that they will dig deep enough to expose how depraved Rome is. Each time another round of information and "data dumps" come forth the public is given the same general information where the leadership tries to pawn the blame off on the lowest possible ranking clergy member, local church or regional diocese or someone who is retired or dead. The line given is that the Vatican, her Cardinals and Bishops did not have knowledge of how widespread, or how to handle this problem.

First, we only need to go directly to Scripture to see that the forbidding of marriage is a "doctrine of demons" (1 Tim 4: 1-3) and the reason is that it results in all forms of perversion in, and the control of the clergy. This doctrine of the Church of Rome was first instituted in 1079 AD. Before that, her "priests" etc., were free to marry. This does not deny that there is a spiritual gift of being celibate but one cannot force that gift on a person just as one cannot force the gift of evangelism or pastor/teacher onto a believer.

However, bible-believing Christians should understand that the Roman Catholic Church follows what is called the Magisterium. This is the interpretation of Scripture through a man-made lens (made up of the Pope and former popes when they speak/spoke Ex Cathedra - from the "chair" infallibly - and the teachings of Bishops through the years including all the councils and tradition).

This means that Roman Catholics practicing their faith as prescribed by Rome cannot go to the Bible via the Holy Spirit to directly hear and understand God's Word, but they must allow the "Magisterium" to interpret it for them. This helps to explain the plethora of false teachings that Rome continues to propagate and why she cannot change them without completely dismantling the entire religion.

This is all outlined in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. A few articles are contained in [the Moriel Ministries 'Alert']  that show many false teachings contrary to Scripture such as worship of the wafer and transubstantiation, Mary worship and Contemplative spirituality are alive and well in the Roman Church.

However, I digress.

There has been talk for sometime about a document called Criminales Solicitaciones (translated from Latin means "Criminal Solicitation"), published in 1962 by the Vatican detailing how The Roman Catholic Church was to handle this issue of charges of sexual and other forms of abuse against it's priests and nuns. Published in Latin and quite lengthy, a few years back Moriel obtained a copy and Jacob Prasch has mentioned it occasionally in various teachings on the subject.
However, I have come across a translated version that I have reproduced below along with its original 'color' commentary by the person who initially re-published it online. This person describes himself as a "recovering Catholic" and the more I read through this commentary the more I think they were once what is described as an "ordinary" or what we would refer to a layman serving in the RC church. The sub-title of the document reads:

"For all Patriarchs, Archbishops, Bishops, and other Diocesan Ordinaries 'even of the oriental rite' "

It is likely that anyone serving in some level of capacity could have had access to this document, even the English translation below.

Why is this important?

Because the whole story Rome has been telling the world is a sham. They have known about this for decades and they directed everyone in their ranks to cover it up from the start.

If the press would only do their job, they could probably blow this whole thing wide open (like they could with the many other scandals plaguing the world) and save many children from future sexual abuse. Yet, we should not be surprised that they do not when the very media that was originally designed to inform us of tyranny and wolves is now mostly a propaganda ministry; much of it owned and operated by Mystery Babylon the Great. Therefore, heavy judgment will and is already coming down on the propaganda mills in the media and the woman as a whole.

Meanwhile, Rome also wants the Middle East carved up and war is the perfect vehicle to divide and conquer. As you will note, the churches that literally and figuratively have faced demolition in the midst of the Islamist and NATO wars are lining up at Rome's door begging for entrance.

Also, note articles concerning this false unity as well as a Roman Catholic hospital changing the definition of the unborn when it suits them. This is highly significant because this is one area where many Bible believing and following Christians insist on uniting with Catholics. Even though a depraved and litigious society is forcing this move, what they are revealing in this case is that when the pressure is on, Rome will fold.

Additional is an article from 1992 concerning the statement Pope John Paul II made regarding Evangelical believers, that we are "rapacious wolves." To get the full speech one has to pay a fee to get access to the Vatican Archives but there are a number of references to the speech online that can now be found if anyone wishes to research further.

The true church needs to awaken to these facts and stop courting the darkness that is using her. Even in the article you will notice that the pastor interviewed (who is well aware of the statement made about him) considers the Roman church a partner. This fallacy is based on ignorance and is indeed unscriptural.

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I will dwell in them and walk among them; and i will be their god, and they shall be my people. Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate," says the Lord. "and touch not what is unclean; And I will welcome you. - 2 Corinthians 6:14-17

May the Lord bless and keep you, Scott Brisk
