Canadian musician and his family arrive...

Kevin and DeborahTwo months ago,  Kevin Andrews - a Canadian professional musician - arrived in Inverness from Edmonton with his wife Deborah and their three teenage children in response to a  call from the Lord to this side of the Atlantic.
The family have since found a house to rent, but are still praying about a car.

Kevin plays the flute and drums. Although Jazz is his principle style of music he has also been involved in musical theatre, country and pop. He has played with three symphony orchestras and also with "The Flextime Trio."

Deborah is a festival director with a marketing and promotion background. The couple  have four children. Candace is married in Canada whilst Daniel, Rebekah and Jessica have come to Scotland with their mum and dad.

Kevin and Deborah have a heart for music evangelism and whilst they are waiting on the Lord to see exactly what He might be leading them into. They are open to getting involved with whatever is currently happening, or to tackle a "start up" scenario if required: but only as God would lead.

It didn't take the couple long to find that Inverness is a long way from the centre of the UK music industry, but in and through prayer they are convinced they are in the right place.

Kevin is available to teach music and Deborah is availabe for event organising / festival management.
The family can be contacted on Tel. 792609 and at  kevinandrews16@gmail.com

Footnote:
The Andrews are one of three Canadian families who have been called to Inverness in recent months. The others are Chris Hyslop with his wife Patricia (re-joining Highlands and Islands Youth for Christ) and Drew Kuzma (taking up the position of Director with Youth Inclusive). Drew's wife Margie and their two children will follow shortly.
