Eyes Right

What's your focus right now? Joy and Jesus -or a thousand reasons for complaint?
David Andrew brings a reminder ....
No joy, no power.

My eyes have seen your salvation (Luke 2:30)

David AndrewMANY Christians in the West are becoming increasingly concerned about the brutal and
relentless assault on our centuries-old freedom of speech. There is now a long (and growing) list of decent, God-fearing Christians who are being harassed, losing their jobs, being sent for 'equality and diversity' training and even dragged into law courts on criminal charges because our ancient beliefs – vindicated by the resurrection of Our Lord Jesus – are nowadays considered offensive (not illegal) to the ruling elite (and to powerful minorities).

Most people (most Christians!) are dangerously unaware that a relentless battle for the mind is being waged on many fronts. Although Sword aims to keep you well informed, I confess it's greater aim is to keep you inspired. You will discover that the pages of this edition are constantly pulling our focus back to the Lord Jesus.

We are called to engage with our culture, to care for the vulnerable, to shine in the darkness, to love our enemies, to stand with Israel and the Jewish people - but we dare not permit our focus to shift from Jesus (and our exalted position in Him) to the 'things of earth' - this is Satan's constant aim. May the Victor of Calvary strengthen you to stand firm - full of joy, full of prayer and full of gratitude. Hell has no answer to these. God bless your year!

Israel and the coming King

Yes, He's coming back but...

Jean Darnall

Jean Darnall speaking to Chris Hill

Have a look at this short trailer.

A  DVD copy of the 30-minute interview of Jean Darnall speaking to Chris Hill can be obtained from C & L Ministries.

Chris Hill talks to Sword concerning the church and our world. In a fairly short interview Chris spans the last 40 years and speaks into the future.

He moves from the 70s - including Jean Darnall's prophecy - and comments on how he feels those heady days frittered out into a 'vague memory'.
Moving then towards more recent events in the church and the nations he stresses the need to 'check it out'. Chris also gives a view on what he feels for the days lying ahead of us.
