As part of the UK-wide Maranatha Community and over the past twelve years Kalah House has hosted two Weeks of Prayer each year for the unity, renewal and healing of the Church of Christ and this nation.
This year the first Week of Prayer in May 2010 focussed on the way in which God brings healing and revival of faith through the repentance of His people. True repentance can only come through the conviction of the Holy Spirit and an awareness of God's overwhelming loving kindness, mercy and grace.
This second Week of Prayer will be dedicated to praying for the Church and the Nation. During each of these weeks there will be worship, teaching and fellowship, with a 24-hour rota of prayer, and also free time to enjoy the countryside.
Footnote: Dennis Wrigley who leads the Maranatha Community is a regular visitor to the Highlands. He spoke in Inverness some time ago when the community issued a document entitled The State of the Nation. The Maranatha Community seek also to bring influence into the parliamentary process.
Please note that a clear five days notice needs to be given if you are unable to attend in an attempt to find a replacement participant. If a cancellation is made earlier, the fee for the prayer week will be refunded, less the non-refundable deposit.
