aLive Ministries; Highland musician John Wilson

John WilsonRaised in the highlands, local singer and songwriter, John Wilson, is looking forward to returning to the area this summer and bringing his music ministry with him.

John who has been based in Edinburgh for the last four years, along with his brother-in-law, David Maclean (of Inverness) have formed aLive Ministry over the past 18 months – and it’s certainly been an eventful time!
Despite only being able to commit part time whilst working towards his degree in Classical Music, these last 18 months have seen John record his debut Album “AGAPE”, minister to over 30 churches across the UK and also perform at Youth events, Outreach events and Christian Conferences and he has just recently received recognition for his music through the New Christian Music Awards.

As John returns to the Highlands this summer, he hopes to be able to minister through his testimony and the music of aLive Ministry to the churches and people of Inverness and the surrounding areas.

John says:
“We have been so encouraged over this past year by the wonderful response we’ve received to aLive Ministry, people have been touched and it’s humbling to be part of it all, we’re really keen to take the ministry back home and we’re looking forward to partnering with local congregations in this outreach”
