SU appoints a new administrator

annette macleanThe Inverness Scripture Union office has recently seen the appointment of new administrator, Annette Maclean - with a "nudge" from the Lord via Christians Together web site.

Annette who lives in Inverness with her husband and three children, applied for the position after seeing it advertised on Christians Together website - although the advert found her rather than her finding the advert as she explains:

" As I was browsing the home page of Christians Together, a topic of interest caught my eye, just as I went to click on it, the link changed and instead I "accidently" opened up the recruitment advert for SU.
Although I hadn't been actively looking for new employment, I had been feeling unsettled in my previous job and had been asking the Lord to direct me in this area of my life. When I saw the advert for SU, I felt very prompted to apply for the role and was thrilled to be offered the position."

Annette's main responsibility is for providing secretarial support for Scripture Union regional workers, Colin Carmichael and Scott McRoberts, and dealing with the administration for SU events throughout the Highlands and Islands.

Well done Annette, and well done SU, a marrage made in heaven if ever there was one, which there was. This I know as I married Annette's mum and we had Annette, was this a Godincedence?
