A great shaking; but do not fear

International Bible teacher Lance Lambert who lives in Israel has given out the following prophetic word which has been placed before international church leaders.

first published 03/06/2010

The following word was given by Lance Lambert at a gathering on Mount Carmel in 1986.

Financial centre of San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake

San Francisco earthquakeDO NOT FEAR neither be dismayed for that which is coming upon the face of the earth, for I am with you, says The Lord. Nevertheless I have a serious controversy with the nations. They are seeking to divide My Land says The Lord, the land that I covenanted to give to Abraham and to his seed after him through Isaac and Jacob, as an everlasting inheritance.

This I will not allow without devastating judgment upon those nations who pursue this plan. I have arisen with intense and furious anger and will not back down until I have destroyed their well being.
I will cause their economies to fail, and their financial system to break down, and even the climate to fail them! I will turn them upside down and inside out and they will not know what has hit them, whether they be super powers or not. For I am the only One, the Almighty God and besides me there is none to compare.

Do they believe that in their arrogance they can contradict and nullify covenants that I the Almighty have made? Do they believe that they can change what has gone forth from My mouth with impunity? It is My Word and My decree that has gone forth concerning the seed of Abraham. It will not be changed by man. I and I alone am Almighty. Do not fear!

For this reason a new and a far more serious phase of judgment is commencing. Do not fear, it is I who is shaking all things. Remember that in Me you have peace but in the world tribulation. Trust Me! I am shaking all things so that which cannot be shaken may remain. When all your circumstances become abnormal, discover in Me your peace, your rest and your fulfillment.

In this phase the old and powerful nations will become as if they are third world countries, super powers will no longer be super powers but countries such as India and China will arise to take their place. A great company of the redeemed will come out of these two countries. In all this change, do not fear.

I know your weakness and your tendency to fear, but do not be dismayed at these things. In the midst of all this shaking, this turmoil and strife, there are two peoples that lie at it's heart, the true and living church and Israel. I will use these matters, these events, to purify one and to save the other! Do not fear, above the storms, the shaking, and the conflict, I am the Everlasting and Almighty One. In Me you cannot be shaken, you can only lose what is not worth holding!

Footnote: Stephen Briggs has recently narrated this prophecy on YouTube.

Lance LambertLance Lambert, one of the most distinguished Bible Scholars and intercessory leaders in Israel and abroad, died peacefully on May 10, 2015 in Jerusalem, Israel at the age of 84 following a severe illness over the past year. We deeply mourn the loss of our dear Brother and Faithful Servant of our Lord Jesus. We also rejoice knowing that he has entered into the Joy and Presence of the Lord.

Lance's contribution to the Body of Christ cannot be measured. His deep life of intercessory prayer and ministry to the Saints in the midst of battle is reflected in the messages he gave us. He will be fondly remembered for that twinkle in his eye and his British humour when he spoke. He has encouraged so many to press on and pursue to a deeper life in our Lord Jesus. In the Words of our Lord Jesus:

Matthew 25:21: "His Master said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the Joy of your Master."

Lance enjoyed a worldwide itinerant ministry. Born in 1931, Lance grew up in England and met the Lord at age 12. He entered the school of African and Oriental studies at London University to prepare for the Lord's work in China. He studied Classical Chinese, Mandarin, Oriental Philosophy and Far Eastern History, but the revolution closed the door to his entry into China.

In the early 1950's, Lance served in the Royal Air Force in Egypt, where he learned many principles in intercessory prayer. He later founded Halford House Christian Fellowship in Richmond, England.

Having discovered his Jewish ancestry, Lance became an Israeli citizen in 1980.

Lance was noted for his eschatological views, which placed him in the tradition of Watchman Nee and T. Austin-Sparks. He wrote numerous books on prayer and Israel, including The Uniqueness of Israel.

Exactly when was this word given? In the light of Acts 5:34ff, I am always careful with regard to even appearing to criticise those who claim to speak prophetically. I am certainly not numbered among those who are "international church leaders." However, in this instance, I would find the word to be much more acceptable if it did not contain so much that has been in the news for months, if not years!
Secular financial experts have been telling us for long enough that India and China are the growing economies. Th reecession that hit so many of the western countries, did so some two years ago. The land of Israel - the modern State - has been subject to man's attempts to divide it almost since its inception.
I am aware that a prophetic word is more likely to be forthtelling than foretelling. However, while not finding anything in the above with which I would disagree, it would appear to be a word that anyone who keeps abreast of world news could have produced!
Having, in the past, heard foretelling words that have been proved to have been false (thankfully, for the 'prophets' involved, we no longer practise Deut.13:5; 18:20), I am just as careful with regard to what I accept, as I am not to criticise just for the sake of it. "He who has ears, let him hear".

Indeed we are called to 'test all things'(1 Thess. 5:21) and this process is in line with CT site policy.

to me, prophetic words are not necessarily ones that tell of the future, but rather, ones that reveals the Lord and His heart. i'm thankful for these words from the Lord through lance. the purpose is not for us to know what's going to happen in the future. but the word of the Lord focuses our eyes on Him and not on the circumstances around us. "be still and know that I am God", and thus "do not fear". Bible already tells us that the in end time there will be great turmoil in the world. but all these are in God's hands -- to usher in His Christ. He will shake away all that's not of Him, so only Christ will remain. praise the Lord, those who trust in Him will not be shaken. :)
