Youth Inclusive Coffee Morning

As part of an effort to finance the activities of Youth Inclusive, the ladies of Hilton Church (inverness) ran a successful coffee morning. The event is a 'starter' for further initiatives to support the work.

Coffee MorningIN a time of squeezed budgets the ladies of the local church in Tomatin Road along with the Youth Inclusive leadership team embarked on the first of series of fund-raising activities.

Drew Kuzma and Brian Irvine work together in the youth organisation and
Brian commented after the event:
"We had a very successful coffee morning whereby £425 was raised to support the work of Youth Inclusive. The event also raised the profile of the work we are doing amongst the young people in the Hilton area."

The coffee morning was held in the main hall in the church and over 100 people attended the morning. Brian continued:
"Those present enjoyed tea and coffee with home bakes made by the ladies who all made it a successful and enjoyable day. There were stalls – some of which were which manned by the young people themselves – as well as baking for sale."

The success of the morning has made it likely Youth Inclusive will have further fund raising events in the future.
