Accommodation urgently required

Javed and Josephine Kailab are a Christian couple from Pakistan who have been working for L'Arche in Inverness.  In the light of the persecution in their home country, they are presently seeking asylum in the UK and urgently need accommodation while they pursue this process.

Hendry Robertson is a Church of Scotland elder and lay preacher.
He writes:
Javed and Josephine Kailab
Javed n Josephine"Javed and Josephine have been in Inverness for the last two years working through L'Arche with adults who have learning difficulties.

Their visas have now run out and they are seeking asylum here. This decision has been made because of the persecution against Christians in Pakistan.

Josephine has lost almost her entire family in Pakistan in a fire.

Burnt HouseAccommodation has been made available so far, but this is now coming to an end. Can anyone help with accommodation over the next few months until the appeal process is finalised.

Javed and Jospehine would be very grateful of any offer of a flat or house in or around Inverness. They would be able to make a small contribution towards the cost of the accommodation.
"

Ed footnotes:
I have met the Kailabs; and Javed and Josephine are a fine couple committed to their Christian faith. They have worked and served sacrificially while in Inverness.
The fire through which Josephine incurred the great loss was a direct result of the persecution in Pakistan. The couple's application for asylum is due to be considered before the end of August.
