Unaccompanied Scottish Metrical Psalm singing in English and Gaelic was, without doubt, one of the great aspects of Highland Culture which was famous in the past, but is now sadly declining.

As part of the Christian contribution to the Highland Year of Culture 2007, the HIGHLAND
HARMONY SINGERS (a non-denominational choir of approximately 100 members from
throughout the Highlands) are holding a Nationwide Psalmody Festival.

As well as the choir items, the programme will include audience participation in both
English and Gaelic. The Rev. Douglas Horne from Tain will give a short address.

Above all else please remember the Festival in prayer, especially as the opinion has been expressed that there is no need for any religious (i.e. Christian ) input to the Highland Year of Culture.

Please keep that day free and come along, bring all your friends, and support one of the few Christian contributions to the Highland Year of Culture.

Remember...........PLEASE PRAY
