Prayer Luncheon

'Does it grieve you my friends, that the name of God is being taken in vain and desecrated? Does it grieve you that we are living in a godless age...But, we are living in such an age and the main reason we should be praying about revival is that we are anxious to see God's name vindicated and His glory manifested. We should be anxious to see something happening that will arrest the nations, all the peoples, and cause them to stop and to think again.'

Mervyn Milne, senior pastor of Perth Christian Centre who is a Co-ordinator of these meetings writes:

Drumossie LunchI, along with many others, am very conscious indeed as we meet in these Pastors and Leaders’ ‘Prayer for Revival’ luncheons that there is an increasing expectation that the Holy Spirit is stirring, bringing to life, reviving hopes and strengthening faith, giving us fresh vision of God’s covenant design to visit our nation in great power and presence. But alas, the devil - just like winter - continues to stalk and harass; but, in God’s divine order, no matter what the devil may do, Scotland will yet again blossom and rejoice in the Word of God being preached in power across our land. Its fruit will be manifest in the Kingdom of God as it strengthens its grip upon the hearts of the dear lost souls of our nation. Let’s not grow weary in doing good - we are on the brink of a miracle.

We encourage you to join us again for prayer at the Drumossie Hotel on the third Thursday of each month. As usual, there will be a guest speaker who will minister after lunch.

Please feel free to invite colleagues in the ministry or within your own leadership who would associate with the heart and purpose of these meetings. If any fellow-leaders accept your invitation, or if there is anyone to whom you would like us to send an invitation, please let us know. There is no cost imposed on those attending the luncheons, although donations are gratefully received.

We hope that you can join with us - we trust you will be blessed and encouraged.

Every Covenant blessing,

Mervyn Milne
