The McCallum Centre in Alness was packed for the concert by Las Vegas singer Annie Meadows.

Annie sang songs from her long recording career, and also shared stories from her past, recounting her journey from practising witchcraft to finding faith in Jesus Christ.

Despite Annie’s health problems, her voice was powerful in declaring the love and faithfulness of God. She immediadly had everyone join in as she sang “Weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning' and with her celtic-inspired “Endless Night."

She also sang the first Christian song that she wrote after her conversion: 'I love you Lord' is her own testimony of seeking and finding the Lord.

It was a special night in Alness, and there are already plans for a return visit.
