A conversation with Dr. Lucie Wilk

Dr. Lucie Wilk, a Consultant Rheumatologist with the NHS, gives her views on the current health crisis.
 

Lucie Wilk 1Lucie Wilk MD had an article published in the online newspaper 'The Conservative Woman' under the title: "Why have we doctors been silent?" The publication date was 15 Nov. 2021.

In the opening paragraph the NHS consultant rheumatologist wrote:
 
"AS an NHS hospital doctor, I have had a front-row seat as the drama of the coronavirus pandemic has unfolded. It has been a year and a half of confusion, frustration and anger for me as I’ve watched our profession drawn into complicity with what I anticipate will be regarded as one of the most egregious public health disasters in history."

Following the publication of the article Dr. Wilk kindly agreed to have an online conversation with a small group of mature Christians who shared her concerns and identified with what she had written.

The group included four medical doctors, one of whom is currently leading a church in Scotland.
